The colorguard is starting anew this spring’s marching season.  We will be focusing on technique for twirling Tall Flags and spinning Rifles, basic dance combinations, showmanship, and learning a routine to perform with the Marching Band.  The colorguard will be marching and performing a routine during the spring and summer, but will rehearse year-round building our technique.  No previous experience is necessary, just come with a positive attitude and willing to learn.  Anyone ages 10-21 is welcome to join the colorguard team.  If you would like to join but are unsure of what to expect, come join us for one night.  Rehearsals are Mondays from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s,  (7595 Center Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823) and are directed by Michelle Freeman. We rehearse outside and move around quite a bit so check the weather and dress accordingly.  Don’t forget to bring water.
